It was 1968 when Clyde J. Mabey built his first  pallet.  Initially pallet building was done in his spare time   just  to supplement the family income.  But as time passed, Clyde was approached by more and more companies who had need of his services.  Soon the demands were great enough that he was forced to leave his full time job behind.  When  the workload had grown to the point where he could no longer  keep up with demand,  he  enlisted the help of his brother and some other relatives including his own children.
